[Global] Should video games be restricted for minors?

Earlier this week China revealed new regulations for computer games and it has the whole world talking. The new regulation bans under 18’s from playing video games from Monday-Thursday and only permits one hour in the evenings from Friday-Sunday. The aim is to fight video game addiction and keep children focused on school and family commitments.

this law is way too extreme, as a teenager, i spend about 1 to 2 hours almost every day playing some PS1 games at that time as a reward of my school work/homework, it never affected my sight i still play outside for like 5 hours a day go around and swim 3 times a week. but a government

forcing the control on kids on video games is just a closed-minded or mostly trying to program the upcoming generation.

All parents have their own responsibilities to set their own rules rather than controlled by the law!!
